In a constantly changing Fitness sphere, two training systems have become tremendously popular because of their fat-burning capabilities: Zone-2 Cardio and High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Both are linked to science, however which one has higher fat losing powers? So why not get rid of the confusion and explain the differences, advantages and use cases of each so that you can make a knowledgeable decision on your fitness path.
Zone-2 Cardio is the kind of that aerobic clubs offer at a low-moderate level of attraction; whereby your heart rate is between 60-70 percent of maximum heart rate (MHR). This intensity is sometimes called fat-burning zone as the main source of energy during the exercise is fat.
